With You All Along

You are never alone. Even when you think everybody else has walked out of your life, even if you think your closest friends have rejected you and forgotten you, have faith still that you are not alone.
In times when even God seems distant and silent, think not that He has cast you away. For His silence is as near an answer as His promptings. And His veil is as as kind and gentle as His light.
It takes a far deeper love to hide the good that we do so it can work out something better. It takes a far greater mercy to withhold immediate relief so you can offer true healing and recovery.
God has not left you. You may not feel His presence, but He is closer to you now, strengthening you in ways only His wisdom and love could ever know.
One day you will finally understand. And when the eyes of your heart has finally been opened, you will see that God has always loved you, that God has always been with you all along.
“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you!” – Isaiah 49:15, WEB

To Be Truly Loved

Blessed is the influence of one true, loving human soul on another. – George Eliot
There is no experience like that of being loved. Nothing can ever compare to it. No wealth could ever be sufficient to replace it.
To be loved is to be noticed by another soul. It is to be truly seen for who we really are, to be accepted, to be cherished and remembered.
When we are loved, we feel valued, and we finally believe that we are precious.
The rest of the world can walk away, but as long as we know that somebody out there loves us, we are consoled. There is nothing that can take away our happiness.
When we are loved, we feel that we have finally found our true home. We are no longer lost because we have been found. We are no longer blind because we now see, and we are indeed seen for the core of who we are.
We can never underestimate the value of loving another person. It is this experience alone, this encounter, this event, that changes us and makes us whole.
“Therefore behold, I will allure her,
and bring her into the wilderness,
and speak tenderly to her.
I will give her vineyards from there,
and the valley of Achor for a door of hope;
and she will respond there,
as in the days of her youth,
and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
It will be in that day,” says the LORD,
“that you will call me ‘my husband,’”…

Let love change you

It is love alone that can change the human heart. -wisdom Nwani

We can go on trying to change people by fear, by anger or by humiliation, and we can just go on failing again and again. It is love alone that can change a human heart, and it is love alone that can redeem a human soul.

Without love within, all the external changes we can make will never last.
Without love guiding our way, we are forever lost.

For it is not in what we have or what we do that we can find the meaning of life. It is always in who we are, and we only discover who we really are in LOVE.

When we start to love, we start also to be changed, to be changed for the better and for good!

It may not happen at once, but through seasons of blessed struggle, love finds its way and occupies all of our being.

We finally change because then we become finally free. It is in love that we find true freedom, the freedom to be happy and to be good.
Let love change you. Then, as that love takes over your whole being, let it overflow unto others, changing every heart it blesses along the way.

“I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh; that they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” – Ezekiel 11:19-20, WEB

The Day of Justice

Don’t fret because of evildoers,
neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
and wither like the green herb.

-Psalm 37:1-2, WEB

God’s justice comes. It cannot be kept away.
The wicked’s time is short, it is already fading, and it is fading fast! Mercy is being poured but it is not being received.
The cry of the poor and the needy will not keep silent, and it reaches unto the ears of God. God’s heart goes with them and is ready to respond without delay.
God will avenge! He will defend you. He will not forsake those whom He loves. Let your hope rest in Him, for He is merciful and just. Let your eyes await for His redemption for it comes soon. It will happen at the appointed time for evil doers to be cut off like the grass.
Let not your anger or your fear trouble you, let go of everything to God. He will deliver you. With justice and with great power, He comes!
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land. -Psalm 37:8-9, WEB
